New for 2012 Halloween Costumes

It's time to start thinking about Halloween, and that means costumes! According to a lot of sites I've looked at, movie - inspired costumes will rule again this year. "Amazing Spiderman," "The Avengers," and "Dark Knight Rises" should be big for men and boys. Click any image to learn more or to purchase a costume!

For the girls, the Disney/Pixar "Brave" movie has spawned the very popular Princess Merida costume. The curly red wig is available too! And for teens, Monster High is hot, as is Hunger Games.

Tomorrow, I'll show you how to dress like someone from Downton Abbey. Upstairs or downstairs!

Halloween Costumes for Kids

It's time to start thinking about what to do for Halloween! With the economy improving, this might be a great time to splurge a little and get the kids something special for their costumes, instead of the ubiquitous white-sheet-with-eyeholes-cut-into-it, which is sooo last year's recession...

Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Captain Jack Sparrow Costume Boy Child 4-6
According to one article, "This Halloween as usual movie characters are very popular choices for adults, teenagers and children. Super heroes are always another popular choice especially for children. This year it looks like some retro themed costumes will be making their way to Halloween parties across the country...Michael Jackson...Jack Sparrow....superheroes....Harry Potter...GI Joe, Transformers, Hannah Montana and of course princess costumes. Also, many of the young boys will be wearing Mario or Luigi costumes. One of the hottest selling costumes for infants is the Baby Blossom outfit."
