Whether you live in Madison, Wisconsin or Madison Park in Seattle, you can show your support for the workers of Wisconsin -- who are really bellwethers for the workers of the nation. If the GOP's collective-bargaining busting bill stands, it sends a chilling effect to all working people of the United States. Unions, imperfect as they may be, are necessary to maintain the rights and safety of workers.

SAVE DETROIT T-shirts

What the Republicans are doing is, in my opinion, despicable. I believe (and this is just my opinion) they engineered the defeat of the auto loans because they want to (1) bust the unions, (2) assert their power while pointing fingers, and (3) come back as "rescuers" when they do present a package that lowers wages and shatters the union but keeps Detroit just above water.

If you're upset about what's going on, tell the world. Write a Congressman, get out in the streets, wear a t-shirt.
