RESISTANCE t-shirts

I'm going to share with you a bunch of resistance-inspired t-shirts today. I hope you like them. I've designed them specifically to wear to rallies and marches. The fonts are pretty large, so there's great visibility. I try to use humor and optimism when I can, black humor when I must, and anger when it's called for. Topics range from climate change to impeachment. All of these tshirts are available in my shop - called LOVE AND DEFIANCE - at RedBubble.

I always want to hear from other folks in the resistance! We are all doing what we can, and my contribution, in addition to marching, maintaining a Facebook action page, and being as active on Twitter as possible, is to create t-shirts we can wear as we resist. I hope to inspire and I hope my designs give life to the thoughts we are all thinking today.

The heatwave that's been gripping the nation for the last few days shows no signs of easing up. And it's only the beginning of July, there are bound to be plenty more days of 90-plus temperatures. Earth Day, Ice Shelves, Global Warming and What You Can Do

As consumers, we all leave a carbon footprint. But the new news about global warming, and especially about the ice shelves that are crumbling is pretty frightening. It's almost too late for us to save this planet as a habitable place for our children, grandchildren and on. We must act NOW to make some major changes, and those changes must be widespread. Canvas Tote Bags - Their Time Has Come

At the end of February, my local grocery store started charging for plastic bags. And not a nickel or a dime, but .20. That's 20 cents. Now that might not sound like a lot, but I shop there almost every day, and rarely get out of there with just one bag.

Doing the math, I see that if I end up getting 365 bags from them in a year, that comes to $73.00. Not a fortune, but for that amount of money I could buy a few canvas tote bags that have so many advantages over plastic, that it's crazy not to do it. Canvas shopping bags help the environment, they're much more attractive than plastic, they hold more, and let's face it, it's hip, trendy and important. I would love to see a few pictures of celebrities carrying their own tote bags into the grocery store, imagine what that would do for the cause!
