RESISTANCE t-shirts

I'm going to share with you a bunch of resistance-inspired t-shirts today. I hope you like them. I've designed them specifically to wear to rallies and marches. The fonts are pretty large, so there's great visibility. I try to use humor and optimism when I can, black humor when I must, and anger when it's called for. I always want to hear from other folks in the resistance! We are all doing what we can, and my contribution, in addition to marching, maintaining a Facebook action page, and being as active on Twitter as possible, is to create t-shirts we can wear as we resist. I hope to inspire and I hope my designs give life to the thoughts we are all thinking today.

The election. Ah, the election. I have to admit, after the election, I went into a downward spiral. I was depressed, I was angry, I was stunned. Still am, to a certain extent. But the anger has now become a call to action for me. I realize that I have taken my country, my government, and my freedom for granted all these years. Sure, I voted, I always vote. But I did so with a complacency that I think many other people felt. Now, suddenly, we are faced with scandal upon scandal, and a president who scorns, insults, lies and refuses to take his position seriously.

If you don't like my politics and my viewpoints, that's okay because this is still America. But be warned now, I am going to spend many posts, for the forseeable future, highlighting RESISTANCE apparel. I am going to be showing off IMPEACHMENT t-shirts. I am going to do my bit to design items that call out to the world that there are millions of us who did NOT vote for the embarrassment that is now in the White House.

Free Jonathan Pollard t-shirt

President Bush is visiting Israel this week, and his visit highlights an issue that is very sensitive for many Israelis - the ongoing incarceration of convicted spy Jonathan Pollard.

But Israeli Pensioners Minister Rafi Eitan, who recruited Pollard in the 1980's, was asked in an interview Thursday whether he thinks the former U.S. Navy analyst could be released from the prison where he is serving a life sentence via a pardon by President Bush.

"I hope that President Bush will pardon Pollard," Eitan told Israel Radio. "The circumstances have now changed, the circumstances have changed. There is a chance,"

Pollard has served 22 years for passing to Israel classified data about the weapons systems and capabilities of Iraq, Syria and other Arab states, including evidence of Iraq's development of chemical weapons.
