The long wait is over, and AMC's Breaking Bad is back on the air for its final 8 episodes.
Breaking Bad TV Poster
According to USA TODAY, Sunday's episode broke ratings records with 5.9 million viewers. "That's double the audience for last summer's opening episode, and higher than any previous episode -- and any episode of the network's Mad Men, though lower than zombie drama The Walking Dead. Bad's ratings, though never big, have climbed each season."

Held annually, normally in July or August, Shark Week was originally developed to raise awareness and respect for sharks. It is the longest-running cable television programming event in history."

Happy August! and Julius Caesar t-shirts
Happy first day of August!
Funny Julius Caesar Salad T-Shirt
According to Wikipedia:
This month was originally named Sextilis in Latin, because it was the sixth month in the original ten-month Roman calendar under Romulus in 753 BC, when March was the first month of the year. About 700 BC it became the eighth month when January and February were added to the year before March by King Numa Pompilius, who also gave it 29 days. Julius Caesar added two days when he created the Julian calendar in 45 BC giving it its modern length of 31 days. In 8 BC it was renamed in honor of Augustus (despite common belief, he did not take a day from February). According to a Senatus consultum quoted by Macrobius, he chose this month because it was the time of several of his great triumphs, including the conquest of Egypt.
So hail Caesar for giving us this nice long summer month!
