New T-shirt! Frederick Douglass

Do you know who Frederick Douglass was? I'll bet you do. You know who DIDN'T know who he was? Donald Trump. In early February, according to CNN, "...at a breakfast to mark the beginning of African-American History Month, he shouted out 19th century abolitionist Frederick Douglass, who died more than 120 years ago, as "an example of somebody who's done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice." Oy vey. Our response was to design this tshirt that pokes a little fun at the President's ignorance, while making a larger point or two. It features an image of the great orator and activist, with text that reads "DON'T BLAME ME, I VOTED FOR ULYSSES S. GRANT."

Oh, Mr. Trump, in case you're reading this, Frederick Douglass, according to Wikipedia, was "an African-American social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman. After escaping from slavery in Maryland, he became a national leader of the abolitionist movement in Massachusetts and New York, gaining note for his dazzling oratory and incisive antislavery writings."
