It's nearly August, and that means it's time for many kids to go back to school. Believe it or not! When I was a kid, we didn't start back until mid-September, but for a lot of the country, back-to-school happens in August. My niece in Oklahoma, for example, starts back August 4. While most of us are enjoying the last days of summer, or kicking back to watch Michael Phelps (see yesterday's post for Michael Phelps t-shirts), moms and dads are thinking about back to school shopping. Ugh, I used to hate those fliers that came from JC Penneys in August, full of dorky back to school junk! So I've found some places that are offering specials, including free shipping, on cool back to school gear, like backpacks, sneakers, hoodies, clothes, and more.
