October Breast Cancer Awareness Tshirts

It's hard to believe it's 2011 and we still haven't cured breast cancer. One of the best sites I've found for up-to-date information on breast cancer advances and news is BreastCancer.org, a non-profit site and organization that "is...dedicated to providing the most reliable, complete, and up-to-date information about breast cancer and breast health as well as an active and supportive online community." You can follow them on twitter for breaking news and inspiring stories, too.

Another awesome site is the Susan G Komen for the Cure website, an absolutely brilliant destination for information, encouragement, and help for anyone affected by breast cancer. They sponsor race walks and runs to raise funds thru their "Race for the Cure" events worldwide.

Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts

As everyone knows, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Everywhere you look, you see pink..I even bought some pink Campbell's tomato soup cans this month. Here are some great breast cancer awareness tees you can buy on the web this month; many of the artists donate a portion of their profit to breast cancer research, support, and breast health organizations. Even if they don't, it's great to wear one of these to spread awareness.

Buy some this October. Do it for your mother, your sister, you know how the song goes.

Oktoberfest Has Already Started in a Lot of Places! Oktoberfest t-shirts

Remember, if you want to be well dressed for Oktoberfest, you gotta order your Oktoberfest t-shirts and shizz now. Oktoberfest has become this huge international celebration, and in some places it's already started. In its original home, Munich, Germany, it's the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year.

Wikipedia.com explains that: "The event traditionally takes place during the 16 days up to and including the first Sunday in October. The schedule was changed following German reunification in 1990 so that if the first Sunday in October falls on the 1st or 2nd, then the festival will go on until October 3rd (German Unity Day). Thus, the festival is now 17 days when the 1st Sunday is October 2nd and 18 days when it is October 1st."
