Princess Diana Death 14 Years Later

It's been 14 years since that shocking day in 1997, when we learned of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. An icon during her lifetime, she became a legend after her death, with hundreds of books written about her, more than one investigation into the circumstances of that night in Paris, and millions still missing the People's Princess. Collectors still covet Diana products, from Beanie Babies to handwritten letters that sell at auction for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Diana is most remembered for her humanitarian works (especially in the areas of AIDS awareness and acceptance, land mines and children) and her fashion. It's amazing how one can look at photos of her from 15 years ago, and she still looks remarkably contemporary. By then she had adopted a casual look in her private life, and a classic look in her public one.

Here --from the tacky to the terrific -- are a few examples of collectible items available at Amazon.com to commemorate the Princess's life and death.
