Let's Poke a Little Fun

Well, the Republican National Convention is upon us all...whether we like it or not. It's going to be wall to wall Republican coverage for the next few days. Thank God some of us love tennis and will be watching the awesome Roger Federer in the US Open for the duration! But still...it's time to poke a little fun at the Republicans, don't you think? You've got the Romney-Ryan ticket. Mitt Romney, the guy who runs away from every position he's ever held (except the missionary one, if you get my Mormon drift), who won't show us his tax returns, who really doesn't want us to know anything about him, and yet he wants to be President? And then he picks Paul Ryan to be his running mate...the same Paul Ryan who idolizes Ayn Rand (who, I might point out, was born in Russia!!!). Now according to Wikipedia, Ayn Rand "advocated reason as the only means of acquiring knowledge and rejected all forms of faith and religion," had at least one extra marital affair, and for whom, at her funeral, a "six-foot floral arrangement in the shape of a dollar sign was placed near her casket".
